Teachers strike again after contract talks break down

Contract talks have once again stalled between the Saskatchewan government and the union representing the province's teachers. As a result, 12,000 teachers across the province are withdrawing all services and staging a two-day strike.

No plea for man charged in stabbing

A Humboldt man charged with the attempted murder of his wife has yet to enter a plea. Brandon Carelse, 34, of Humboldt has appeared a number of times in Saskatoon Provincial Court, and he also appeared in Humboldt Provincial Court on May 16.
