EAST CENTRAL — It’s been almost four months since SARCAN locations across the province closed down because of COVID-19, but depots across the province are getting ready to open to the public once again.

HUMBOLDT — Humboldt RCMP have released more details about an incident where a pedestrian was hit crossing Main Street. Police said they were dispatched to the scene on June 4 at approximately 1:20 p.m.

LANIGAN — A light coloured automobile ran over multiple street signs in and around Lanigan. Police are looking for those responsible. The Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said the incident happened the early morning hours of May 20.

TISDALE — A former Tisdale resident is preparing for the release of a new short film that she is directing. Cheyanna Kidd, 20, is currently studying at the Centre for Arts and Technology, in Kelowna B.C.

HUMBOLDT — A movement against racism and police brutality has moved north to Humboldt. At noon on June 4, a peaceful rally started at Civic Park before marching downtown.

HUMBOLDT — It appears a pedestrian was hit crossing the Main Street near the post office at around 1:15 p.m. on June 4. Emergency crews are on the scene. As of June 5, Humboldt RCMP have given more details.

HUMBOLDT — Four people were transported to hospital by STARS and Humboldt Ambulance after a two-vehicle collision Highway 5 approximately 11 kilometres west of Humboldt. Two male adult drivers remain in hospital in Saskatoon with serious injuries.
