HUMBOLDT — Taxes for Humboldt’s residents and businesses will be less than expected at budget time. The budget, passed on Dec. 9, assumed a 2.4 per cent tax levy increase.

MELFORT — A 45-year-old Melfort man has been charged after Melfort Combined Traffic Services pursued a speeding vehicle that refused to pull over. Police said they attempted to stop the vehicle on May 20 at 8:30 p.m.
