EAST CENTRAL — After taking a test, it was found that a local MP does not have COVID-19. Randy Hoback, the MP for Prince Albert, got the negative results on March 24.

Premier Scott Moe was joined by chief medical health officer Dr. Saqib Shahab on Monday to provide an update on COVID-19. As of Monday, Saskatchewan has 14 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 66 in the province.

HUMBOLDT— Humboldt’s three grocery stores are adapting to the pandemic.

The province of Saskatchewan has 14 new, confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a provincial news release sent out this afternoon. That brings the total province-wide to 66 cases.

EAST CENTRAL — In a Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce (SCC) survey, 85 per of businesses that responded have said they felt a negative impact due to COVID-19.

MELFORT—The City of Melfort has sent out a public advisory with instructions to residents, telling them how to best stay safe through the pandemic. City instructions for residents not working in the essential service sector: 1.

TISDALE — Cpl. Mike Benjamin said the Tisdale detachment has been adapting their staff procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. “At a detachment level here… we have temporarily reduced our front counter service,” he said.

LANIGAN — Thieves broke into a store on Langian’s Railway Avenue and tried to steal an ATM. They stole cigarettes in the early morning hours of March 15.
