I thought I had witnessed every way possible for the Riders to lose a game over 42 years of covering the team. I have seen hundreds of losses but none where a pass on the last play of the game hit the crossbar.

TISDALE — A Tisdale resident received a call from an individual claiming to be with the Tisdale RCMP, and the caller display matched — but what they wanted was ITunes gift cards. The scam phone call was reported to the Tisdale RCMP on Nov. 15.

HUMBOLDT — With a snip of the ribbon, the Horizon School Division celebrated its brand new central office.

Police tried to stop an inmate who escaped from the federal Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon on the highway near Humboldt on Nov. 14. Two men, Matthew Michel, 24, and Kendal Campeau, 29, fled the centre during the night of Nov. 13.
