HUMBOLDT — Once again Humboldt took time to remember the brave men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces during the Remembrance Day service on Nov. 11.

MELFORT — Kevin Tetz, the co-owner of Inspired Vapor Company in Melfort, said he’s supportive of some of Saskatchewan’s new legislation on vaping.

HUMBOLDT — Humboldt’s concentration of lead is well below the maximum acceptable level, but there are concerns about older homes that still use lead pipes to draw from the city’s system.

EAST CENTRAL — Beginning in April 2020, the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority will accept applications for cannabis retail permits in Saskatchewan communities with populations less than 2,500.

MELFORT — Those wanting to start a liquor retail store in Melfort have the chance to bid for a permit – online. For the first time, the provincial government is auctioning off a number of liquor permits online through McDougall Auctioneers.
