EAST CENTRAL — The highway between Watson and Wadena will be receiving $8.8 million in improvements. According to an announcement made by the provincial and federal governments on Aug.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin council awarded a tender for the tie-ins of the water treatment plant into the existing water distribution system for more than $1.5 million, plus contingency. The tender was awarded to DC Trenching for $1.

HUMBOLDT — The Prairie Central District for Sport, Culture and Recreation will be teaching people about Métis Jigging and Sash Weaving with practitioners of these traditional arts. Jigging is a traditional Métis dance.
