The members of the Melfort-based Prairie North Co-op and the Kelvington-based East Central Co-op have voted for amalgamation. Out of 61 members of the East Central Co-op attending a special meeting Nov. 2, 67.2 per cent voted in favour of the merger.

It was a busy week for the Melfort Mustangs off the ice as they made a trade acquiring 20-year-old Tristen Elder from the Humboldt Broncos in exchange for 20-year-old forward Jaxon Joseph and 16-year-old defenseman Kade Olsen .
