Another step has been made towards a new Wellness Centre in Melfort. Council voted to begin the rezoning process on a parcel of land near the Melfort Hospital at its meeting Dec.

Tisdale’s mayor said the largest story of 2016 was the town’s economic growth. “The big highlight of the year was probably the big increase in commercial and industrial building permits,” Al Jellicoe said.

For the Hartman family out of LeRoy it has been a long 19 months. Thanks to a $13,640 donation from the Humboldt Emergency Relief Organization, things have been made a little easier.

JENKINS: Hugh July 25, 1948 – December 19, 2016 Our Dad, Hugh Jenkins was born in Wadena, Sask on July 25, 1948 to Jack and Eileen Jenkins of Quill Lake.
