The Frenchman Butte Museum has undergone an aggressive rejuvenation process over the winter months in an effort to position itself as the premier small town museum in Saskatchewan.

Blaine Lake TOPS No. 5167 Chapter held its annual installation of officers following its regular meeting April 9 with eight members in attendance.

Congratulations to Gerson and Jessica (nee Mueller) Urbina of Borden on the birth of their twins April 3. Brielle Colulle Orellana weighed five pounds, nine ounces and her brother Anton Colulle Orellana weighed six pounds, 10 ounces.

Maymont Sharon United Church Spring Supper will be hosted at the Maymont Central School gym Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a craft and trade show Saturday, April 27 from 9 to 5 p.m. in the school gym. Admission is $2.

Why not add a little colour to your day? That's what many in Wilkie did April 10. But it wasn't just for any reason. It was in support of the Canadian Red Cross Day of Pink.

The Chapel Gallery hummed again Tuesday as the Battlefords Art Club members met to paint together. Dean Bauche dropped in to tell us about a workshop coming up May 9, 10 and 11.

Spring fire school has come to a close. Paynton volunteer fire department was fortunate enough to send three officers to take two different courses from April 12 - 14.

Fourteen members of the St. Walburg Royal Purple travelled to the 59th annual Royal Purple district meeting hosted by the North Battleford Royal Purple. The district includes North Battleford, Cut Knife and St. Walburg and has 105 members.

Tally Stoughton stopped in to visit with grandma Dorothy Kissick. Last weekend the Maidstone Trade Fair was what kept everyone busy. Bruce and Shirley James of Waseca and Don and Bev Nicholson of St. Walburg were to see Tillie Linkert.
