Retreat festival draws 350 supporters

The sun broke through the dark clouds in the early morning May 25, which led many to breathe a sigh of relief. The second annual music festival was held that day at Leipzig Serenity Retreat, which is a five-week residential drug and alcohol facility.

Sympathy to the Betty Taylor families of Battleford on the recent passing of Betty. A funeral was held May 18 in Battleford. Fire raged through a shop and storage building on the Gary and Lind Southgate farm in the Eagle Hills area.
