4,873 drivers caught speeding in April

TISDALE — The Tisdale duo of Jordan Simoneau and Carter Sawatzky helped the Nipawin Hawks fly to their first Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League championship in 28 years.

CARROT RIVER — Four youth were caught in a SUV stolen from Carrot River. Inside the vehicle was a .22 caliber rifle, large machete, several BB guns and ammunition.

UPDATE: Dana Head has been found safe and sound. NIPAWIN —Nipawin RCMP are asking for help in finding Dana Irvin Head, who’s from the region. The 37-year-old man was reported missing to RCMP on May 23.
