Highway 16 bypass closed due to accident

A 64 year-old man from North Battleford, who was driving a passenger vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash also involving a semi, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Battlefords Union Hospital Wednesday.

Battleford RCMP have identified one of the three suspects involved in the noted incident. Dakota Ermine, 26, of Prince Albert is being sought in connection with an armed robbery of a business on 22nd Street in Battleford Aug. 12.
