The Battlefords RCMP detachment has released details about their enforcement activities running from Aug. 5 through Aug. 8 in the Battlefords. In total, they responded to 182 calls for service in that time frame.

PARTNERS is sending out the call again this year for their 2016 School Supply Drive. PARTNERS Family Services are looking to fill backpacks with school supplies to go to students and families in need.

Humboldt will be competing at the national level for the 2016 Communities in Bloom competition. Communities in Bloom judges, Bonita Lundberg and Gail Pearcey, toured around Humboldt on Aug. 3-5 looking at what Humboldt has to offer.

The Cut Knife RCMP are investigating a single vehicle roll over which occurred near the town site on the Poundmaker Cree Nation. Initial investigation has revealed a dark-coloured truck rolled down an embankment.
