After years of effort, the long-awaited North Battleford downtown master plan has finally been unveiled.

Nipawin Council is making plans for Canada’s 150th birthday. At a regular meeting of council on Feb. 27, council voted to approve a pre-budget expenditure of $9,000 for a fireworks show on July 16th.

The Melfort Mustangs’ stretch of tough results continued as they dropped a 4-2 decision to a motivated Flin Flon Bombers team in Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League action in Flin Flon.
