Residents of Jubilee Home in Lloydminster are enjoying enhanced quality of life with improvements underway throughout their long-term care facility, according to Prairie North Health Region.

The 800 block of 112th Street will be closed for most of today (December 9th) for a water main repair.

Funding has been announced to address the needs of long-term care facilities in the province.

According to an SGI press release, with the holiday season now underway, law enforcement across the province will be paying extra attention to impaired driving during December's month-long traffic safety blitz, Operation Overdrive.

Calls to Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6 included several complaints of dangerous and erratic driving including complaints about drivers texting while driving.
