Cash stolen at knifepoint

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 38 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, June 6 and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 7. Among those calls were two false alarms, five municipal bylaw/noise complaints and three traffic related complaints.

Armed robbery investigated

An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a business located in the 1100 block of 107th Street Friday. Battlefords RCMP say a man entered the business armed with a knife at about 10 p.m.
