With the arrival of December comes ramped-up activity for the Empty Stocking Fund and their efforts to provide for those in need this season.

Saskatchewan law enforcement agencies have extended the December traffic safety blitz for the holiday season. For the entire month of December, officers will be increasing resources and paying extra attention to impaired driving across the province.

Late Monday, Kipling RCMP detachment requestedassistance in locating Harley James Ironside, age 75. The detachment has advised that Ironside was found at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the North Portal border crossing in southern Saskatchewan.

The intersection of Territorial Drive just north of 8th Avenue was the scene of a head-on collision on a snow-filled Sunday afternoon in North Battleford. The incident took place around 3 p.m.
