Prairie North Health Region is calling on people between 20 to 59 years of age to get immunized against influenza. PNHR is scheduling more flu clinics throughout the region, targeting the 20-59 age group.

RCMP have released the name of a Biggar area woman who died Monday in a crash between a school bus and a truck at about 4 p.m. on Highway 4 between Biggar and Cando. Police say the woman is Monica Domes, 40, of the Biggar district.

Neglect of livestock being investigated by RCMP and SPCA
A herd of some 30 horses, just south of the town of Scott, near Wilkie, do not appear to be being fed by their owners. The horses are pawing their way through the snow cover to get to the dry summer grass underneath.
