Building permits dip in March
Building permits dipped in March in the city of North Battleford, although numbers are strong for the year so far. A total of 10 permits for $883,000 were issued compared to 12 for $2,914,000 issued in March 2010.

Tot Lot makes a splash
The Tot Lot in Battleford is open again for the summer. It opened June 1 and will be open until Aug. 20. The hours are Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
