Last week's track meet at North Battleford Comprehensive High School determined the list of athletes from the Battle West District headed to Moose Jaw for Friday and Saturday's provincial competition.

Along with the numerous students from North Battleford on their way to provincials this weekend in Moose Jaw are students from throughout the Battle West District.

The Battlefords North Stars have announced Connor Creech has committed to join the Plattsburgh Cardinals who are a member of the NCAA Division III State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).

The Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament took place for the 17th straight year, and it still hasn't lost it's appeal. The tournament, put on by the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation, sold out once again with 210 registered golfers.
