The Battlefords AAA Sharks' finished the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League in eighth place, but during the final month of the regular season they had arguably the league's best player.

The last two minor hockey teams standing in the Battlefords this season were at the bantam level.

The dedication, character and effort of the Battlefords North Stars this season can't be questioned. They put everything they had on the line and had it come to an end Sunday at the hands of the Humboldt Broncos.
