TISDALE — One of the largest dance festivals in the Northeast marked its tenth anniversary. Dance Experience, hosted by the Tisdale Dance Centre, saw almost 1,000 dancers from 12 different dance clubs visit the RECplex from April 18 to April 22.

NIPAWIN — When the buzzer reached zero, confirming the Nipawin Hawks’ victory in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League final, team captain Carter Doerksen said he was so excited.

TISDALE — Three Tisdale Trojans will be competing at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships. Forward Andrew Hawes and goaltenders Roddy Ross and Tanner Martin have been selected to play for Team Saskatchewan.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin’s new water treatment plant, still under construction, is under budget so far. The project, estimated at $20.8 million, is under the budget approved by council by around $258,000.
