A fog advisory has come to an end.

UPDATE: The fog advisory for the southeast corner of the province has come to an end.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The advisory was issued early Friday and included Bienfait, Oxbow, Carnduff, Lampman, Stoughton, Carlyle, Redvers, Kipling, Whitewood, Moosomin and surrounding areas.

It states that near-zero visibility was expected or occurring.

"Areas of fog with near-zero visibility are being reported over portions of eastern Saskatchewan early this morning," the advisory stated. "The fog may continue to spread westward over the coming hours, and regions may be added to the advisory as necessary."

The fog was to lift and visibilities gradually improved Friday.

The Ministry of Infrastructure's Highway Hotline shows season driving conditions exist on southeast highways. Earlier in the day, some had reduced visibility due to the fog, while others reported winter conditions existing due to pavement frost.
