Charges laid in child pornography investigation in Estevan

The investigation into the case of possession of child pornography has been concluded.

Estevan Police Service Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division and the Saskatchewan Integrated Child Exploitation Unit have concluded an investigation into possession of child pornography.

ESTEVAN - Charges have been laid in a child pornography investigation in Estevan. 

Members of the Estevan Police Service patrol division, Criminal Investigation Division and the Saskatchewan Integrated Child Exploitation Unit have concluded an investigation into possession of child pornography by an Estevan resident. 

As a result of the investigation, Trevor Curtis, 52, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography under the Criminal Code.

Curtis made his first appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on Jan. 27 and was subsequently released on a release order with conditions. 

He will make his next appearance in court on Feb. 7 to speak to the matter.
