Ten more recoveries, no new cases of COVID-19 for Estevan's South East Zone 4

REGINA - The Saskatchewan Health Authority’s COVID-19 dashboard is reporting 10 more recoveries from the COVID-19 virus on Sunday for South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

There are no new cases to report, either, leaving the total number of active cases for Zone 4 at 18.

There are four new cases to report in the South East region, with one in Zone 3, which includes Weyburn; one in Zone 2, which is north of Zone 4; and two in Zone 1, to the northwest of Zone 4.

A total of 75 cases are considered active in the South East.

Seventeen more people in the South East have recovered, including the 10 in Zone 4.

One person is currently receiving inpatient care in hospital in the South East. There was nobody in hospital in the region from Wednesday to Friday.

Sixty-eight more tests were processed in the South East on Aug. 21. 

And another 220 doses of vaccine have been administered. There are now 46,629 people in the region who have been fully vaccinated.

Across the province, there were 219 new cases and 142 more recoveries. Ninety-four people are in hospital in Saskatchewan.

Another 1,975 tests were processed and 2,180 doses of vaccine were administered.
