Lake Alma couple watch son in Queen City Marathon

Lake Alma (cpd) - Wayne and Dolores Hagen were in Regina on Sept. 8 to watch the Queen City Marathon. Their son, Jared Hagen of Regina ran the half marathon (21.1 kilometres). He crossed the finish line in just one hour, 19 minutes and 43 seconds.

Surprisingly, the biggest demand at the Salvation Army Food Bank right now is for pasta and pasta sauce. "Usually we got so much of the pasta, but we actually had to buy pasta and sauce," said Capt. Melissa Mailman, from the Weyburn Salvation Army.
