The Weyburn Red Wings (7-16) ended a four-game losing streak and put together their second two-game winning streak of the season over the weekend.

The Estevan Apex Bruins scored twice in the third period to earn a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Weyburn Wings on Sunday.

After a sound victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Friday, the CanElson Drilling Estevan Bruins passed up an opportunity to build off the win with a loss to the Kindersley Klippers the next night.

From Friday, Nov. 23 to Saturday, Nov. 24, Arcola and Carlyle will be hosting the SHSAA 2A Boys Volleyball Provincial Championship. Beginning Friday at 1 p.m., members of the general public are invited to either the Arcola School or the Gordon F.

The Carlyle Cougars Novice 8 & Under team, coached by Larrie Rae & Jeff Humphries played two exhibition games this past week. They were in Alameda on Monday, November 12th versus the Oxbow Huskies, and on Sunday, Nov.

On Nov. 17 and 18 Carlyle hosted a hockey tournament for youth 12 and under. Two Carlyle teams were in competition with Sanjel Estevan, Estevan Thunder, Regina, and Lampman/Arcola.
