Adjudicators chosen for 2011 Rotary Music Festival

The adjudicators for the 2011 Weyburn Rotary Music Festival have been determined. The dates of the annual festival will be Mar. 7 to 12 for the piano competition, Mar. 13 to 16 for the vocal competition, and Mar. 16 to 18 for the band competition.

New semester at Comp

School is back in session at the Weyburn Comprehensive School with the second semester having begun on January 31. Students will be busy familiarizing themselves with new classes and new teachers.

Ambulance fees to rise in region

The Sun Country Regional Health Authority (SCRHA) approved the increase of ambulance fees at its regular monthly meeting on January 26. Rates will go up in Sun Country Health Region as of April 1.
