The Bargain Shop in Carlyle and Southern Plains Co-op are again bringing cheer this festive season. This is the third year they have hosted a toy drive and fundraiser. The fundraiser is organized this year by Val Purser and Debbie Jack. From Nov.

The Oxbow community had an exciting start to the Christmas season. The celebrations started on Nov. 28 with the traditional Christmas in Oxbow kaleidoscope of activities.

The Christmas tree is in place on Main Street in Carlyle and ready for the holiday season. This year’s Yule tree was donated by Robert and Joan Smith of Carlyle.

SESAA is the Southeast Saskatchewan Airshed Association, incorporated in October 2005. We are a non-profit organization of public, industry, government, and non-government members.

This past Friday, Nov. 25, the Food Bank was especially busy as they were host to the Carlyle 12 and under hockey team. The team was there to learn the inner workings of the Food Bank and the role of the volunteers.
