Saskatchewan COVID-19 update: five new cases, two in hospital, one more recovery
There are five new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Sept. 5, bringing the total to 1,643 reported cases, the Ministry of Health said Saturday. Three new cases are located in the Saskatoon region and two are in the south central zone.

Lawsuit filed stemming from EPS police dog bite in 2019
An Estevan man has filed a lawsuit against the Estevan Police Service, the City of Estevan and the Estevan board of police commissioners. Kristofer Donald is seeking $250,000 in damages after he was bit by police dog Max during an arrest last year.
