Three of Saskatchewan`s best known musicians will be coming to Estevan next month. Jeffery Straker and Friends will be performing at the Estevan Comprehensive School on Oct. 9, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The travelling art show – Chaos, Flow, Meander – has left Weyburn in late September and is on its way to Assiniboia at the beginning of October. Chaos, Flow, Meander will be exhibited at the Shurniak Gallery from October 3-23.

The sponsors for the Weyburn Concert Series were honoured on Thursday evening, as they were recognized for their contributions towards their organization with a presentation of certificates.

The New Jersey Jukebox opened the Weyburn Concert Series season on Thursday evening, as they performed the songs of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The quartet, based in B.C.

The votes have been tabulated and the winner has been decided in the That was the Best Summer Ever Photo Contest offered by Estevan Mercury Publications. The winner was Stacey Dupuis, whose photo received 527 votes.

The Orpheum Theatre is bringing stand-up comedy back to Estevan on Oct. 4, with a lineup of funny people coming to tickle the funny bones of the audience.

It`s become a popular attraction for families in the southeast region the last few years. Corn Cob Junction is operated by the Estevan Bible Camp every fall.

Autumn Alexander is both excited and a little nervous for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her to help represent Canada on the world stage, at an Olympic-style international dance competition later this fall.

The 2019-20 Living Room Live concert series will open with a performance by pianist Benjamin Bertin. The concert will take place on Oct. 2, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Cory and Ceceilia Wanner. Tickets will be $20 at the door.
