The South Sask. Photo Club continues to offer a place for photographers to further their skills and boost their love of photography.

Three local music students were awarded the 2019 Helen Davidson Music Award on Saturday evening at the T.C. Douglas Centre.

The Estevan community took advantage of an opportunity to have outdoor fun in indoor settings as the Power Dodge Curling Centre turned into practice biking grounds on Saturday for the Bikes and Books Rodeo.

Local folk/roots music trio Hook & Nail has released a new summer single, Ride, from their debut album, Ghosts of Taylorton.

A Weyburn resident went down to Estevan last week and took top spot at the Estevan Sings competition. Karissa Hoffart, originally from Minton but working as a nurse in Weyburn, was the winner of Estevan Sings on June 19.

The Estevan Arts Council provided a helping hand to talented young artists in the area by presenting scholarships on Thursday afternoon at its craft room. A total of 27 scholarships, worth $100 each, were handed out.

It’s still a few months until the opening performance of the season, but the Estevan Arts Council has already announced the schedule for the 2019-20 Estevan Concert Series. The season will open on Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The Weyburn Comp's Combined Senior Choir did the cool moves as they performed the "James Bond" theme at the year-end senior music concert on Tuesday night at the Cugnet Centre.

The school year is almost over but that doesn’t mean that kids should forget what books look like. For those who like reading the Estevan Public Library once again offers the TD Summer Reading Program.
