The Estevan Arts Council has announced Alison Norlen will be the adjudicator for the annual adjudicated art show on Nov. 3 at the Estevan Leisure Centre’s multipurpose room.

The second annual Concert Jam is coming up in only a matter of a couple weeks. Hosted by Weyburn and District United Way, the community concert event is scheduled to have seven bands performing throughout the day.

The Souris Valley Theatre will present its second main-stage show of the summer, Pirate Heart, this month. Opening night is Aug. 8.

Hosted by Weyburn and the United Way, the community concert event is sure to provide you with entertainment. Seven bands are scheduled to perform throughout the day with a variety of genres to be expected. Each band is unique and has their own story.

The 2018 Bow Valley Jamboree may have been dampened by bouts of summer rain, but that didn’t stop the crowds from coming out and supporting the event.

The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum will have a few new additions for the rest of the summer. The 20 young people in the EAGM’s Forts, Flags and Fortresses camp created their own flags at the camp, which ran from July 23-26.

The Souris Valley Museum will host a day of basketball for young people next month. The event will be on Aug. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The 14th annual Gateway Festival will take place July 27-29, 2018 in beautiful Bengough, Sask.

The City of Estevan hopes to see a strong push for tickets for the upcoming Alice Cooper concert on Aug. 26.
