The Estevan Public Library celebrated TD Canada Children’s Book Week by bringing in writer and artist Joseph Torres, better known as J. Torres, on Wednesday afternoon.

The organizers of the annual Bow Valley Jamboree have released a lineup that they hope will appeal to a variety of music fans. The annual festival will take place on July 28 at the Bow Valley Park south of Oxbow.

Three young women took home the top prizes from the 2018 art adjudication at the Signal Hill Arts Centre, as two visiting artists announced the winners from the art entries submitted by 19 artists for this year’s competition.
