Playing through two sets ripe with deep synthesizers, electric guitars and pounding drums, PandaCorn thrilled concertgoers at Friday night’s installment of the Southern Plains Co-op After Dark music series.

For a project that was intended to get a pair of musicians out of their comfort zone, Megan Nash and Brodie Mohninger have grown rather comfortable as PandaCorn.

There is growing interest in the upcoming casting calls for “Rocky Horror Show” for Crocus 80 Theatre. Casting calls will be held at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre on Monday, Jan. 5 and Thursday, Jan. 8, both at 7 p.m.

The White Bear Education Complex hosted their annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 18. The youth had put a lot of work into preparing for the event, while the community was very receptive as the gym was filled with friends and family.

This year, instead of a Christmas concert, Manor School decided to host something for everyone to partake in if interested with a school talent show held on Monday, Dec. 22. The talent show included performances by students and teachers.
