The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins have acquired centre Will Koop from the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Koop, a 20-year-old forward from Winnipeg, has 111 points in 111 career junior A hockey games.

Cross Country Provincials Congratulations to the GFK Sr. Cross Country Team who competed at the Provincial Meet in Delisle on the weekend. There were more than 700 athletes competing in races that each had more than 110 competitors.

The town of Delisle once again played host to the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association’s cross-country provincials, with some Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS) and other southeast school talent in the mix.
