The basketball season has now started and a busy season is ahead for the Sr. Boys. Practices run almost every Monday and Wednesday and tournaments are slotted in for Norquay, Stoughton, Estevan, Oxbow, Rocanville, Gravelbourg, and Davidson.

Brent Gedak’s rink is backed against the wall after a 7-5 loss Thursday night at the 2018 SaskTel Tankard. Gedak lost to the Ryan Deis rink at Affinity Place after a series of picks and missed shots by Gedak’s team handcuffed the hometown skip.

The Assiniboia Senior Rebels officially captured first place in the Notekeu Hockey League regular season with a 6-3 victory over the Gravelbourg Hornets on January 26. The Rebels completed the season with a record of 14 wins and four losses.
