The SaskEnergy Volunteer Champion Award was presented to three individuals on November 19, who were nominated by the Weyburn Red Wings for best demonstrating an excellence in volunteerism and community service.

The Weyburn Comp senior Eagles boys and girls teams both competed in the 5A provincials over the Nov. 18 and 19 weekend. The Eagles boys team lost 2-0 to Prince Albert St. Mary in their first game. Then they won 2-1 against Saskatoon St. Joseph.
