A record-breaking run of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” has just been completed at the Weyburn Comp with over 1,000 people attending the four performances this past week.

Over the Easter Break, 28 students and eight adults embarked on a 10-day tour of Europe with the Weyburn Travel Club. They traveled with EF Tours which is an educationally-based travel company specializing in tours for youth around the world.

The Weyburn Travelodge is raise funds for a new computer monitoring system for the Sun Country Health Region through their 14th annual Charity Golf Tournament. The golf tournament will be held Sunday, June 5 at the Weyburn Golf Course.

Laura Resler and Krista Missal of Pharmasave come up to accept the overall award as Business of the Year at the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce’s WEYBEX Awards on Friday evening. Pharmasave also won the Golden Service Award.

Weyburn photographer Christopher Borshowa wins second place overall for in his entry for the 2016 local art adjudication. The photos were of Matty Foord, and marks the first time that he is exhibiting a male subject in his photos.
