Y.G. phones cut off after severed line

Yellow Grass (cpd) — A fiber optics line was cut near Weyburn on Oct. 10, leaving part of Weyburn and all of Yellow Grass without landline or cell phone service from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Business remained open to provide service.

Weyburn city police: Several accidents attended

Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Fourth Street and Bison Avenue on Sunday. A west-bound vehicle on Bison Avenue driven by a 67 year old male failed to yield to a south bound on 4th Street and they collided in the intersection.

Special event for Ogema Heritage Hall

The Ogema Heritage Hall is hosting a grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 15. The event will include supper, entertainment, music, and a ribbon cutting. Construction of the Ogema heritage Hall began in April of 2013 and was completed June 2014.
