Brady Smith from Melville Saskatchewan holds on tight to the bull they call "Single Payment" at Midale's 13th Annual Bull Bash. The Bull Bash kicked off this weekends festivities for the Midale Threshing Bee on Friday night.

The City of Weyburn will be performing major infrastructure improvements on 5 th Ave SE. from 3 rd St. to beginning the week of August 5 th , 2019. The work involves full road construction of 5 th Ave. SE from 3 rd St. to 4 th St.

Weyburn Beavers player, Dominic Bravo, tags a Yorkton Cardinals player out after trying to slide to third during their game Wednesday night. The Beavers met the Cardinals in Yorkton, who currently sit last in the standings.

The Hockey Canada Summer Showcase is a hockey camp in Calgary Alberta from August 2-11 for Women who play in the USports league (the highest Canadian sport University level).

The Weyburn Beavers played a two-game home series against the Regina Red Sox on Monday and Tuesday. Monday’s game started off in favour of the Red Sox with them scoring two runs right off the bat in the first.

Allie Griffin Auditorium was turned into a mini movie theatre Wednesday night as an up and coming Community Cinema Group tested out how Weyburn would react to having Community Cinema in the theatre.

Over the July 26th-28th weekend, Bengough Saskatchewan held the 15th annual Gateway Festival. The weekend was filled with music and a variety of activities to take in.

Mayor Marcel Roy gave his remarks at the swearing-in ceremony for two new officers and the community safety officer, who were all sworn in at a ceremony on Friday at the Weyburn Police station.
