Southeast College announced that for the second year in a row, a Southeast College Hairstylist student has won a medal at the Skills Canada Saskatchewan event.

The Ramada Weyburn announced today it has been awarded the Best of Ramada Worldwide by Wyndham Hotels, which recognizes the highest quality Ramada locations across the globe.

Members of the Young Fellows Club presented a donation of $1,000 to the Signal Hill Arts Centre to sponsor their May clay classes for schools.

The Weyburn Review placed well in the annual awards competition for the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association (SWNA), presented at the association’s annual convention on April 6.

The Weyburn Police Service is investigating a report of a break-and-enter to a commercial building in the downtown area, which occurred on Wednesday. Some of the property has already been recovered and some individuals have been charged.

As a result of a drug trafficking investigation by members of the Weyburn Police Service, drug search warrants were executed on Saturday at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Students of the Bridge School, Maddy (at right with mike) and Autumn gave their comments about being students in the special class, as their teachers, Angie Zackrisson and Jen Clark, listened.

A little puppy enjoyed some time with the Easter Bunny, along with the bunny's helper Abigail, during a fundraiser event hosted by Pet Valu on Friday.
