Members of the Malayali community in Weyburn gathered their families together for Onam celebrations, which is a harvest festival from their part of India. The festival celebrates harvest with numerous feasts and dances, games, races and folk songs.

Children watched what happened when a leaf-blower acted in the place of the Big Bad Wolf to blow over a house of sticks for one of the Three Little Pigs, during a fun activity led by the Regina Science Centre on Friday.

Weyburn police received a report of a person who was beaten up on Aug. 20. Upon investigating the matter, an adult male was identified as the suspect. The suspect was located and arrested.
