Yorkton's Francis Bazin had great success at the national team trials in Toronto. The team trial event was a double elimination format with the medalists from the national championship held in Winnipeg earlier this year.

Bringing poetry off the page is one of the ways to get the most of it. Poetry Grind is a one man poetry performance starring Kyle Markewich, and will take place at the 5th Ave Cup and Saucer on August 26 at 7 p.m.
