Ed, my neighbor next door, has been like a bear hibernating this last while. If he has been out of his den, I haven't seen him. Ruby his wife told me at the post office yesterday that Ed is alright, but gone most days.

Terriers Sportsman's Dinner draws sellout crowd
The annual Yorkton Terrier Sportsman's Dinner, one of the major team fundraisers. was held at the Gallagher Centre Saturday night. The evening opened with a prime rib dinner followed by the program, 50/50 draw and an auction of hockey memorabilia.

There is a new oldest person in Canada. Pearl Lutzko of Ituna, SK. is 111, and is believed to be the oldest after Elizabeth Buhler of Winkler, MB. died this week. Buhler was also 111, only a few months older than Lutzko.
