In spite of there not having been a curling team assembled at the Canora Composite School in six years, a CCS foursome is wearing gold medals won at the District competition.

A group of about 15 students of the Canora Composite School are watching their spare change while contrasting the many advantages they have living in Canada with living conditions for a student in Ghana.

The Canora Composite School’s senior girls Cougar basketball team placed third in its own tournament held on January 29 and 30. In their first game, the Canora girls played a Humboldt team and came away with a 41-14 win.

All five of the Canora Minor Hockey teams “played great” during Canora Minor Hockey Day on January 30, and each one placed second in its division.
