The eight members of the Invermay School Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation with family and friends on June 26.

Four young Invermay students were celebrated for their accomplishments on June 24 upon their completion of Kindergarten.

Poor air quality forced the postponement of the Aug. 11 Rider game.

Brennin Jack, raised on a farm between Invermay and Rama, said he was pleased with his performance at the World Livestock Auctioneering Championship held in Dunlap, Iowa in June.

Robert Miller and his wife Tina Cobos, who have spent a number of years on the road across Canada and around the world, stopped in at the Canora Campground for the night of June 19/20.

The Yorkton Crossing Court Invasion hit Canora on July 3, allowing area players to give pickleball a go on the new and improved Canora courts.

The academic achievements of graduates were celebrated with the awarding of over 20 different scholarships at the Canora Composite School graduation on June 26.

The girls toasted the boys with, "“Congratulations boys and good luck in the future because we will not be there to do the group projects!”

At the CCS Graduation Exercises on June 26, Principal Derek Serdachny told the audience of friends and family members, "One of the greatest privileges our staff has is getting a front-row seat to the journey our students take."

GSSD Board Member Shannon Leson commended the CCS graduates on their achievements, adding, "You’ve arrived here through dedication, sacrifice, and a spirit of perseverance that reflects the very identity of your school – home of the Cougars. "
