SALTCOATS - Annual craft sale set for community Nov. 5

The annual Craft Sale and Trade Show is Sat., Nov. 5 at Saltcoats Town Hall from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There is chili on a bun for noon lunch. A loonie gets you in the door and a chance at the door prizes. Sun., Nov. 6, 2:00 p.m.

Knox United Church will have a roast beef luncheon on Wed., Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Take out orders available. Dinner will be in the church basement. Knox United Church will be having a craft show on Sat., Nov.

Dave and Gloria Herron travelled to Abbortsford, BC for a week to visit Lorne and Julianne Herron. While there they attended the Abbortsford airshow and travelled to Vancouver to visit Stanley Park and many other interesting sites.

The monthly community potluck for August was held on Wed., Aug. 10. There was a good turnout and everyone visited while they enjoyed the selection of tasty dishes brought for the supper table.

Saltcoats Museum needs roofing! Fundraiser Pancake Breakfast will be hosted at Laketown Leaders Stirling Room on Monday, Sept. 5, 8:00a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The cost is $5.00 a person with family rate of $20.
