Traffic Bylaw finally gets green light

Four times was the charm in terms of Yorkton Council finally passing a newly revised Traffic Bylaw. The bylaw which received first reading Nov. 21, 2016, was back before Council Dec. 12, and again Jan.

City seeking infrastructure aid

The City of Yorkton is hoping to receive funding on two major projects under two different infrastructure programs.

City to demolish mobile home

An old mobile home far in rental arrears to the City will soon be demolished to allow for the pad to be rented again. “The City of Yorkton owns and operates the Mobile Home Park in the southeast corner of the City, north of King Street.
